Professor Ben Liu has a Ph. D. in Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a Master of Art in Religion from the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a Professional Managers’ Program degree from Tunghai University. He speaks Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese.
He is currently a professor of Marketing at the Lender School of Business at Quinnipiac University. His professional positions include: Managing Director at Teamwood Corporation, Taiwan; Purchasing Supervisor at General Instrument Microelectronics; Marketing Manager at ATW Electronics; and Export Manager at Chang-Shing Iron Works.
Professor Liu researches in the areas of Cross-cultural, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction & Loyalty, Trust, Internet Marketing, New Product Strategy, Buyer-Seller Negotiations, and Industrial Marketing.
He teaches Marketing Management, New Product Development, International Marketing, International Business, Promotion Management (including Integrated Marketing Communication), Marketing Research, Marketing Strategy, Negotiations, Business Marketing.
Professor Liu is a member of The International Association for Conflict Management (IACM), The Institute for Operation Research and Management Science (INFORMS), American Marketing Association (AMA), Association for Consumer Research (ACR), Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), and Strategic Management Society (SMS).
