He was also instrumental in turning the once relatively unknown magazine Us Weekly into the brand it has become. He created Gossip Cop, the first and only website to fact-check entertainment news. After 10 years as the founder and CEO of Gossip Cop, which was routinely cited by Google and peer publishers for its accuracy and transparency, the company was acquired by a private equity-backed publisher. Michael also now regularly coaches media corporations and venture-backed startups on best practices and growth techniques, including SEO, as well as serves as a strategic advisor to a number of businesses. He currently sits and has previously served on several advisory boards, including Conduit.com, which was Israel’s first billion-dollar Internet company.
