grace gerwe

Grace lives in London but is originally from Moscow. Double majoring in Molecular Biology and Environmental Studies, Grace wants to pursue a career in food and agriculture innovation. She has researched in an epigenetics lab and works for the Yale Sustainable Food Program. She took a gap year, is now a second-year in Morse, & spends her free time building cool side projects.

seth goldin

Seth is a first-year in Stiles studying Computer Science and Linguistics. He’s a published neuroscience researcher working on an AI-powered ed-tech startup called Friday, with the goal of increasing access to academic support. Outside of YES, he’s running a half-marathon with Yale Club Running!

mark matera

Mark is a junior studying Cognitive Science, focusing on behavioral economics and decision-making. He’s spent the past few years getting involved in the VC space and is passionate about building out a space for Yalies to get involved in it. Outside of YES, Mark can be found running, playing bass guitar, or listening to music with friends.

Andrea is a sophomore studying Economics and Mathematics. She currently runs a national NGO in Mexico that seeks to inspire students from low-income backgrounds through education, entrepreneurship, and health. Outside of YES, she enjoys going on culinary tours, running, and cooking.

Pierce is a junior in Stiles studying Global Affairs and History of Art. He was a member of the VC fellows Spring ‘22 cohort and spent his summer working on tech capital due diligences. Outside of YES, he enjoys movies, testing out new recipes, travel, and bad reality TV.
